Why do you need my documents?

Rewire is a licensed money transfer company regulated by Israel’s Ministry of Finance. As such, we are required to verify your identity before we can make any transfers on your behalf. This can be done by uploading documents like a photo of your passport or official ID card and take a selfie when you are asked to do so on Rewire’s app or website. Your information is safe with us; we will not pass your information to any other organization unless it is demanded by the Ministry of Finance, Israel.

How to upload your documents?

In order to set up your Rewire account for the first time, choose to upload one of the following documents:

- Passport
- Driver’s License
- Citizenship or Residence Card

Then make sure the image is clear and readable with all corners visible.
Lastly, enter your address to finish the identification process.

How long does it take for my money to arrive?

The time to transfer money to your Rewire account depends on the mode of transfer as below:

  • Transfer to a bank account - between 10 minutes up to 1 business day
  • Transfer to a Cash Pick up and BDO bank - Immediately

*Due to unforeseen circumstances, your transfer could be delayed by a few business days. These circumstances include transfers made on weekends, regulations of the country, public holidays, any change in ID requirements, compliance, time-zone differences, or any other government requirements.

What are the limits on sending money?

The limits depend on the mode of deposit:

1. Cash Load from GMT, Post Office - Up to 20K ILS monthly (GMT limits to 10k per transaction)
2. Kessef Card - Up to 20K ILS monthly - no daily transaction limit
3. Credit/Debit Card loading - Up to 10K ILS monthly - changing daily limit.
4. Wire transfer -
- Transfer from the customer's own account - 10K ILS monthly
- Transfer from the customer's employer the limit is up to 10k ILS monthly. If they wish to send more than 10k they will be required to provide a salary  slip/employer letter or other proof to be approved by the compliance officer
4. Super-Pharm - 9,500 ILS monthly (You can add another deposit method to equal 20k monthly)

Are there any Hidden Fees?

No, there are no hidden fees we believe in full transparency. We charge a flat fee of up to 1% based on your amount of transfer. You will see that fee when you sign in to your account, and click to send money and enter the amount.

How to make SSS payments with Rewire?

It’s simple to make an SSS payment. First, you need to have already signed up or log in to your Rewire account. 

  1. When on the Home tab, click on the top right corner the 3 dots to open the side menu.
  2. On the side menu click “Pay SSS”, then fill in your SSS details, verify and confirm the payment. If you don’t yet have money loaded on your account it will ask you to load money either via cash deposit at Super-PharmGMT, or via wire transfer.
    If you choose "Wire Transfer" click on the third option to see the Rewire bank details to send it too.

How much does it cost to make an SSS payment?

It’s completely free of any charges.

What details do I need to make SSS payments?

You just need your SSS account number. Make sure you already have an existing Rewire account if not sign up here for free.

How long does it take for the SSS payment to arrive

It usually takes up to 1 hour to process. You will be notified once the payment is approved.

How to send to Gcash and Coins.ph (mobile wallet) in the Philippines?

In order to send money to mobile wallet, you need to select “SEND MONEY” Tab in the app

  1. Enter the amount
  2. Add beneficiary details (Bank details), and confirm whether all details mentioned & amount is correct.
  3. Choose “Receiving Method” as “Mobile Wallet”
  4. Choose the type of mobile wallet between Gcash and Coins.ph, then enter the account number and click "Add."
  5. Then you need to have the appropriate balance by depositing either by cash at one of our deposit points in GMT, Super-Pharm or Post Office, or by wire transfer from your Israeli bank account, or Postal Doar Account. You can also deposit from your Credit/Debit Card or Kessef Card. Your order will be processed the same day

Your employer can make a wire transfer directly to your Rewire account as follows:

  1. They need to login to their own bank account and make a transfer to:

How long can I Keep the Balance in my Account For?

We hold balances for 3 business days, it is mandatory to send money once you deposit. Since we don’t work as a bank, we do not allow you to hold your balance for saving purposes or rate fluctuations.

How do I use my Balance?

Once you have made an order for the amount you would like to send, you need to deposit/ wire transfer an amount equal to your order minus the balance. For example, if you have a balance of 50 in your account, you need to make an order for 1050 & deposit 1000. This way, the balance of 50 will be added to the order.

How long does it take before my family gets the money?

Where can I find my history of transactions?

You need to sign in your Rewire account, open the "History" tab where you will find all the details of your Rewire transactions.

How do my beneficiaries get my money?

It depends on the mode of transfer you choose.  They can receive it by bank transfer or cash pick-up (the Philippines only). You will get an email and SMS when the money has arrived at its destination. Additionally, it will appear in the order history tab, it will say "order complete."

For Cash Pick-up: The beneficiary will get an SMS notification from the supplier with a code that they need to show the vendor to pick up the money they must also show ID that matches the full name of the beneficiary written in Rewire.

How will I know when the money has arrived?

You will receive Email & SMS once money has been credited to your beneficiary account. You will also be able to see it in the order history tab as "order complete."

Cash Pick-Up: The beneficiary will get an SMS with a code from the supplier that they need to show the vendor to pick up the money they must also show ID that matches the full name of the beneficiary written in Rewire.

How does my beneficiary collect the money from Cash Pick-Up?

How do I invite my friends to Rewire?

To invite your friends to Rewire, you need to log-in to your account and select the “Share Rewire” button where you will find options to share via Whatsapp, Email, Facebook & Viber.

Once your friend has signed in, activates his account, and makes a transfer of at least ₪500, you will receive a Bonus of ₪50 cash-back into your Rewire balance to be used. Note that you need to use your reward within 3 days.
